Using the widely cited Pew Research boundaries: Baby Boomers 1946–1964, Generation X 1965–1980, Millennials 1981–1996, Generation Z 1997–2012. Generation Alpha is usually dated 2013–2024 and Generation Beta from 2025.

If you were born between 1981 and 1996 you are a Millennial; 1997 to 2012 is Gen Z. People born around 1993–1998 are sometimes called Zillennials because they share traits of both.
What is a Xennial?
Xennials are people born roughly 1977–1983, on the cusp of Generation X and Millennials — often described as having an analogue childhood and a digital adulthood.
Who decides generation years?
Nobody officially. The dates are conventions set by researchers and the media, so different sources can shift the boundaries by a year or two.
